ICYMI: Rent Manager Release Notes Recap May – July 2025

The Rent Manager Development team continues to create and enhance features to streamline your processes and help grow your operation. In case you missed it, several exciting resources have come to the software in the last few months. So, we’re recapping our most recent Rent Manager Release updates to highlight several new additions and expansions that will make managing your properties easier and more profitable.

May Release Notes

Evictions

Track eviction progress at a glance with Dashboard Tiles, customize reporting with Eviction Class Scripting, and stay informed with Automated Notifications that alert you when an eviction has aged beyond a set number of days. Plus, Eviction Packets centralize required documents for easy access and printing.

AR Task Automation Updates

A new accounts receivable notification type allows you to schedule reminders for a specific day of the month and target current delinquencies. We’ve also updated the existing “Days Late” notification with a new filter option so you can focus on the current month’s charges or the newest unpaid balances, rather than just the oldest charge.

Enhanced Automation Notifications

New alerts notify you when a unit inspection is scheduled or closed, when an owner prospect follow-up is overdue, and when an owner has been paid. We also added property filters and a contact-type selector to many existing notifications, so the correct people are notified about key events like move-ins, move-outs, notice dates, and expiring leases.

Smart Receipts

Snap a photo, upload it, and let Orion AI do the heavy lifting. Smart Receipts extracts key details and auto-fills your entries, reducing manual entry and keeping expenses organized.

Announcements

Never miss an update! The new Announcements feature showcases releases, new features, and more through a built-in feed in My Workspace—giving you better visibility into the latest and greatest from Rent Manager.

Birds Eye View

Set up interactive property maps faster with Quick Add Mode and unit pins—that’s right, tedious tracing is now a thing of the past! Birds Eye View’s more intuitive interface, support for multi-floor layouts, and improved Map Views help you visualize operations at a glance and manage units with more speed and clarity.

Short Term Rental Enhancements

Boost bookings and guest satisfaction with flexible Short Term Rental features. Allow guests to complete final payments online, set minimum stays, offer direct bookings via map view, and apply promo codes on the fly—all with real-time pricing updates.

Utility Consumption Alerts

Monitor utility usage more effectively with customizable Consumption Groups. Set thresholds for normal, high, and low meter readings. Receive exception alerts in the rmAppSuite Pro mobile app and gain added visibility in reports—making it easier to prevent billing errors and catch issues early.
