As most approaching graduates do, I began my search online. Looking for a position that fit my skill set was one thing, but finding a company with a tolerable atmosphere was a whole other ball game.
Then I found London Computer Systems (LCS). LCS is the developer of Rent Manager property management software, along with several other business-critical technologies. While the property management industry was one I hadn’t considered upon graduation, LCS caught my attention purely by its employees’ enthusiasm for their work. They truly believe in the product they’ve developed and continue to innovate and have fun while doing it.
After a long interview and some patient waiting for a call back, I graciously accepted a position at LCS and can honestly say the atmosphere is more than tolerable; it’s hard working, lighthearted, passionate, and leaves plenty of room for innovation.
My initial impressions of the company behind Rent Manager have recently been validated as London Computer Systems has just been named one of The Enquire Media’s “Top Workplaces” for the fourth consecutive year.
An honor like this is one to be celebrated for any organization, but as LCS stands among only a select few to have been recognized year after year, we couldn’t be happier.
The Enquirer Media Top 100 Workplaces award is based strictly on employee feedback, so there’s no campaigning, lobbying, or lengthy application process proving we think we’re great. A simple survey unveils the thoughts and opinions of the employees, and is then analyzed by Workplace Dynamics as they choose the top employers.
This testament to LCS reinforces what those of us at the company already know. It’s a great place to work, our future is bright, and most of all, we love what we do.
