Rent Manager Screen Share Terms of Use

The Rent Manager Screen Share Terms of Use are intended to help you understand how London Computer Systems, Inc. (LCS), the creators of Rent Manager, utilize Glance services to facilitate screen sharing sessions between you and Rent Manager Support and how LCS treats information you share within a screen sharing session. This policy is separate from the Glance Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. To understand how Glance protects your data and their terms and conditions, review Glance’s Terms of Use (https://www.glance.cx/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://www.glance.cx/privacy-policy).

Throughout this document, we use “Rent Manager Support” to refer to any employee of LCS who engages with you for training, documentation, support, or research purposes, or for any other purpose that requires your screen to be shared. We also use “Rent Manager screen” to refer to contents viewable on your device from either Rent Manager Express or rmAppSuite Pro. Certain Glance features may not be available in rmAppSuite Pro.

While participating in a screen sharing session, the content shared may vary. All sessions begin by sharing content inside your Rent Manager screen only. Glance refers to this as “cobrowsing”. To further assist you, Rent Manager Support may request to view screens outside your Rent Manager screen. In such instances, you will be notified with a separate consent popup. If you accept, you can choose which content outside your Rent Manager screen to share with LCS. Glance refers to this outside content as being shared via a “screen share”. Throughout this document, we use “screen sharing” to encompass both “cobrowse” and “screen sharing” scenarios.

Rent Manager Support may request remote assist access. You will be notified with a separate consent popup, which, if accepted, allows Rent Manager Support to control any Rent Manager screen you are sharing in the support session. Neither the support representative nor LCS holds any liability for any modifications to Rent Manager, your computer, or your company network while Rent Manager Support is controlling your screen.

Rent Manager Support may request that you upload a file. If you choose to share a file with the support representative, it may be retained by LCS for training, documentation, support, or research purposes.

You may request to add another person to the screen sharing session. Additional people added to the session are known as “guests.” When added, the guest can see any information shared with Rent Manager Support.

LCS may record phone calls and associated screen sharing sessions with Rent Manager Support. These recordings may be used for training, documentation, support, or research purposes. The recordings or other information shared during the session, including personal identifiers, professional information, transactional information, etc., may also be shared as needed with one of our trusted partners/vendors who work with or on behalf of LCS. These companies may use your personal information to provide additional products or services to you or as outlined in their Terms of Use and Privacy Policies. These recordings may also be shared with a third party outside of LCS.

In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, LCS provides consumers in California and Virginia with specific rights to their personal data. Refer to Rent Manager’s Privacy Statement (https://www.rentmanager.com/privacy-statement/) for more information on how LCS handles your data in compliance with these laws.

By clicking Share, you agree to the Rent Manager Screen Share Terms of Use described in this document and to Glance’s Terms of Use (https://www.glance.cx/terms) and Privacy Policy (https://www.glance.cx/privacy-policy). You also acknowledge that your screen will be shared with LCS and that you have sole responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and legality of any data you share and the means by which you acquired that data. If you do not agree to these terms, do not click Share.

LCS may update this policy at any time. We will notify you about significant changes by sending a notice to the primary email address on file or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
