Have you ever looked at a financial report and wondered just how the numbers got there? In this Virtual Classroom, we’ll explore three key financial reports:
- General Ledger
- Profit & Loss
- Balance Sheet
Financial Statement Basics explores these reports and illustrates how your everyday Rent Manager 12 transactions impact them. We will start with an overview of what the GL, P&L, and Balance Sheet show, and then we’ll follow the flow of basic Rent Manager tasks onto these reports, including journal entries, accounts receivables, accounts payables, and security deposits.
While covering these fiscal fundamentals, we’ll also touch on a few best practices along the way.
The course begins as a three-hour, instructor-led training session. Participants are encouraged to follow along with their instructor in the provided digital workbook—the demonstration activities have been included for you to review later!
Once the demonstration is over, you will have the chance to practice what you just learned in a risk-free simulation of Rent Manager 12—the same database the instructor uses throughout the tutorial. Your workbook also includes hands-on activities that you can practice in the designated training environment created just for you!
Each attendee also gets one-on-one email access to the session’s instructor for a week, as well as 7 days to practice the hands-on activities in the training database.
