In case you missed it, several exciting resources have been added to the software in the last few months. So, we’re recapping our most recent Rent Manager Release updates to highlight several new additions and enhancements, which will make managing your properties easier and more profitable.

January Release Notes

Work Order Links for Smart Bills and Receipts

Easily link Smart Bills and Smart Receipts to an issue and work order during the review process—increasing connectivity, visibility, and control. If you need to link an existing bill to a work order, you can do so retroactively from the Issue page and the Bill details page.

Master Meters and the Utility Cost Recovery Report

The new Master Meters feature works with the new Utility Cost Recovery Report to show how much you’re spending on utilities versus what you’re charging residents. With just a few clicks in Rent Manager, you’re able to enter master meter charges, track monthly consumption, and generate reports for accurate tracking and easy auditing.

Custom Tenant Add Wizards

Create a simplified data entry process tailored to your workflow with Custom Tenant Add Wizards. Design wizards from scratch, modify existing system wizards, or import your custom wizards from Rent Manager 12. With flexible setup and customized fields, adding residents in Rent Manager Express is faster, more consistent, and aligned with how you work.

LeaseTrack 300k Liability

Rent Manager now supports both $100k and $300k LeaseTrack master policies for renters insurance. With today’s rising costs, higher liability coverage helps reduce exposure and delivers greater peace of mind.

March Release Notes

AI-Powered Report Analysis   

Convert long, complex reports into concise executive summaries and insights in seconds. Powered by Orion AI, this feature helps you quickly understand performance and save a clear summary directly within the report for later reference.

Global Search in Express

A new centralized search allows users to find people, units, vendors, accounts, tasks, and more in Rent Manager Express. This matches the search experience in Rent Manager 12 and significantly speeds up navigation.

Prospect Add Wizard Customization 

Customize the guided Prospect Add Wizard in Rent Manager Express to tailor the data entry process to your exact needs.

Centralized Rentable Items Management  

Manage market rent, rent quotes, and renewal increases for units, homes, and other rentable items all in one workflow, and empower your teams to price, reserve, and apply renewal changes more efficiently. 

Memorize Tenant Statements 

Simplify recurring Tenant Statement creation and ensure consistent formatting by saving Tenant Statement report settings and regenerating them instantly from the Memorized Reports menu.   

Apply Now Income Verification

Income Verification is now integrated directly into the Apply Now process. You can request verification during the application workflow, reducing manual steps and accelerating screening.
