During the first half of 2025, the Rent Manager team traveled across the country to attend meetings, conferences, and tradeshows to support and develop meaningful partnerships within the multifamily housing industry. We’re highlighting several key events below.
Multifamily Housing Highlights
NMHC Annual Meeting
At the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) Annual Meeting in Las Vegas this January, Rent Manager Relationship Managers Heather Barrow and Lauren Croasmun conducted a series of high-impact meetings with partners and key prospects. They also gained insight into future initiatives through NMHC’s launch of the Real Estate Technology and Transformation Center (RETTC). We will be highly engaged with this new association as Rent Manager is an Innovator Sponsor of RETTC.

GCNKAA Tradeshow
In March, at the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association (GCNKAA) Tradeshow in Cincinnati, Zack Stephenson, Rent Manager Sales Representative, and Heather Barrow highlighted our newest features to local property management professionals, further solidifying Rent Manager’s presence in the region.
NAA Advocate
Also in March, Rent Manager was a proud participant in the National Apartment Association (NAA) Advocate, where rental housing suppliers, property managers, owners, and operators met with representatives in Washington, D.C. to share industry feedback with members of Congress regarding key federal priorities.
Joe Easton, Rent Manager’s Director of Partnerships & Industry Relations, and Heather Barrow met with lawmakers to advocate for legislation affecting rental housing—specifically to remove the 30-day Notice to Vacate requirement under the CARES Act and support the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

NMHC Spring Meeting

The 2025 NMHC Spring Meeting took place in April in Chicago. The meeting focused on strategies for navigating high interest rates, rising costs, and preserving affordable housing. Key themes included increased investor interest, strong tenant retention, and the launch of RETTC to guide responsible technology adoption in multifamily housing.
The Rent Manager Industry Relations team—alongside 900 owners, operators, and investors—attended two days of education sessions related to affordable housing and technology. Conversations also centered on how to navigate tariffs, high interest rates, insurance prices, and construction costs.

TAA ONE Conference
In May, we traveled to Houston for the Texas Apartment Association (TAA) ONE Conference—a three-day gathering of multifamily housing professionals—to network, discover solutions, and gain insights. We also met with customers, prospects, and supplier partners. Key insights from the conference included AI tools, innovation, career growth, and multigenerational awareness.
NAA Apartmentalize

Finally, the Rent Manager team attended the NAA’s Apartmentalize 2025 Conference in Las Vegas with more than 12,000 professionals from across the rental housing industry. Held in June, our staff took every opportunity to connect with customers, prospects, and partners at Apartmentalize. They also attended sessions focused on AI-driven operations, employee and resident onboarding, and tech-forward property management solutions.
As you can see, we’ve been busy! These events enable the Rent Manager team to accommodate and stay ahead of the multifamily industry’s needs, while fostering important relationships throughout the U.S. and beyond.
