RMUC.25 brought the Rent Manager community together in San Diego this October for a week filled with learning, networking, and pure excitement. From actionable learning sessions and an inspiring keynote to hands-on charity projects and unforgettable social events, this year’s conference was a true reflection of what makes property management—and the Rent Manager community—so special.
Now that the Rent Manager team has returned to our day-to-day and had some time to reflect on our experience in California this fall, we wanted to share some of the highlights from RMUC.25 and how much of an impact the week had on us.
Bootcamps and Innovation Hall
The week began with Rent Manager 101, including both the Core Bootcamp and the brand-new Scripting Bootcamp. Attendees dove into Rent Manager tools and strategies, gaining practical skills they could immediately apply to their work.

At the same time, Innovation Hall opened its doors, giving attendees a first look at the Rent Manager Experience, new technology innovations, and a chance to connect with our team and sponsors. The space quickly became a hub of ideas and collaboration, sparking conversations that continued throughout the week.

Giving Back with Habitat for Humanity
Even before sessions began, attendees made an impact. Volunteers and sponsors came together for a Habitat for Humanity charity event, building four playhouses for children in need. Guests also supported the cause by purchasing RMUC merchandise, with all proceeds benefitting Habitat for Humanity. It was a powerful reminder of how the Rent Manager community not only leads in the property management industry, but also in giving back to the community at large.

Coastal Charm Opening Reception
The first day ended with the Coastal Charm Opening Reception, sponsored by Henri. Attendees relaxed with drinks by the water, enjoyed a live steel drum band, and a professional sandcastle builder crafted the Rent Manager logo for all to see. It was a fantastic mix of connections and celebration to set the tone for the week.

Keynotes and Industry Panels
The second day kicked off with an inspiring Keynote Address from Dave Hegemann, Rent Manager’s President and CEO. Dave shared exciting product updates and features coming to Rent Manager in 2026 and celebrated the company’s growth over the years.
Sessions and panels featured industry leaders, including:
- Troy Garrett, NARPM CEO
- Leslie Gooch, MHI CEO
- Mindy Gronbeck, IREM President-Elect
- Julianne Goodfellow, RETTC Head of Community and Policy
Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and gain insights from these high-profile experts. Dave also led the Roadmap to Rent Manager session, offering a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the platform’s future with an attendee Q&A session at the end.

Top Gun Takeoff Social Event
When the sun set, attendees made their way to the USS Midway for the Top Gun Takeoff Premier Social Event, sponsored by AmRent, AvidXchange, LeaseTrack, and Zego. The high-energy night featured a live performance from the band Liquid Blue, flight simulators, photo opportunities, a tour of the historic aircraft carrier, and more. It was an unforgettable evening of connections and fun that reminded everyone why RMUC is a must-attend experience.

Sessions, Certifications, and Animal Visitors
The third day featured even more sessions, with insights from Rent Manager experts, industry pros, and our integrated partners. Attendees learned valuable software tips and tricks, discovered how integrations can simplify operations, and had the opportunity to become Rent Manager certified, adding a valuable credential to their professional toolkit.

The day concluded with the Roar and Pour Power Hour, sponsored by AvidXchange. Attendees networked with Rent Manager employees and sponsors in Innovation Hall, where a few unexpected guests—a kinkajou, alligator, and hedgehog—added a touch of fun and surprise to the networking experience.

Inspiration and Looking Ahead
The final day of RMUC.25 inspired reflection as sessions concluded, connections were celebrated, and attendees gathered for an empowering Closing Ceremony. Industry leader Lisa Marvin presented The Uncompromised Life, leaving attendees motivated and ready to share new ideas with their teams. The conference wrapped with a raffle prize giveaway featuring a TV, gift cards, a light therapy mask, a nugget ice machine, and more—ending the week on a high note.

Making Memories at RMUC
RMUC.25 was more than just a conference—it was an experience. Attendees left with new skills, new connections, and memories that will last a lifetime.
