Cincinnati, Ohio (October 25, 2012), LCS, developer of business-critical technologies, gave attendees of its Rent Manager User Conference this week an in-depth demonstration of the company’s fusion of Net Dial Tone® VoIP telephony service with Rent Manager®property management software, an industry first.
We actually launched this product integration earlier in the year, but the User Conference gave us the ideal opportunity to showcase its capabilities to an invested and informed group of Rent Manager customers, said Tony Little, Chief Technology Officer at LCS. The response we’ve received has been phenomenal.
Net Dial Tone (NDT) is LCS’ proprietary Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) platform, which combines voice (telephone) and data (Internet) systems into a single line. Rent Manager is a powerful, all-in-one property management and accounting program, available in standalone and online formats.
When combined, NDT and Rent Manager produce a communications framework that automatically identifies and opens a tenant/vendor/owner’s information in Rent Manager when a call is received. A recording of the call and a log entry can also be saved to the contact’s history in the program. Outbound calls and voicemails can also be logged and saved in Rent Manager via NDT, enabling users to keep exact records of all company telephone communications.
The practical applications of this feature are huge. It allows our customers to confirm details, settle disputes, and share information, all based on the transcripts of a conversation, rather than second-hand or from-memory explanations, added Brittany Christerson, Sales Manager for LCS’ Rent Manager division.
LCS also announced forthcoming updates to Rent Manager Xi at the User Conference, and gave attendees a sneak peek at Rent Manager 12. The conference, held at the Gaylord Texan Hotel, concluded October 24th.
