Eureka! Creating a Custom List of Customers

Eureka imageTo create a custom or refined list of customers, open the Customer window by going to Rental Info > Customers. Click on the Filter button in the upper left hand corner of the Customer window.

Use the Lease Dates field to enter in the desired leasing criteria, then select OK. You can also save your filter criteria to be re-used in the future. Simply click the drop-down arrow next to the filter and choose Save As.

Your list has now been narrowed down to the renters who match your criteria. Simply hold the CTRL key on your keyboard and use your mouse to click the names you wish to include.

Additionally, you can left click your mouse while dragging the pointer over the names, highlighting those you wish to select. Or to choose all of the names on the list, click on the first name, scroll to the bottom, hold the Shift key, and select the last record.

Now, right click the mouse on your selection. This will display a menu of options. Choose Compose Email if you wish to send an email to the selected names, or choose Write Letters to view letter options available.

If you want to write a letter, you will also have the options to email the letter as an attachment or send it to the Virtual Post Office (VPO) to be mailed on your behalf via the U.S. Postal Service.
