Customize Rent Manager
Every company has its own specific requirements for what information it wants to track, and different users will most likely have different roles within the company. Why then should everybody get the same thing? Rent Manager recognizes the uniqueness of each company and provides several avenues to customize the software to the company's specific needs, as well as the individual users.
Customize the toolbar
Each user in the company can customize the toolbar to their own specific needs. For instance, the property manager might be responsible for entering rent payments, making deposits, prospects, tenants, and work orders. The Accounts Payable department, on the other hand might be responsible for vendors, checks, bills, bank reconciliation, and reporting. By customizing the toolbar, users can get quick access to the features and functionalities they need most at their fingertips. Users can even personalize the toolbar by using their own icons!
• Add report batches
• Add your own icons
• Customize it for each individual, company, or group
Use Tab Manager to create your own layout
Like individual users, companies have different requirements too. This is where Tab Manager comes in. For instance, a commercial property will likely track entirely different information than a manufactured home community. If a company wants to track different information about a tenant, property, unit, vendor, or owner than what is provided by Rent Manager the company can make its own view. You even have the ability to re-order the tabs on each view, or remove tabs for specific users.
• Add or remove fields
• Create calculated fields
• Create a whole new tab from scratch
• Use existing templates
• Make individual fields read-only
System Preferences
System preferences can be created to change many of the default settings for the system. For instance, you can choose whether reports should have alternate shaded rows on a report, define owner overdraft protection, or determine the stub order on your checks. The system preferences allow each company the flexibility to change the default settings in Rent Manager to their own liking.
