Optional Common Area Maintenance (CAM) Module:
Manually calculating and reconciling your Common Area Maintenance charges can be a hassle. If your portfolio consists of commercial or retail office space, then the Rent Manager CAM module can make your job much easier. The Rent Manager CAM module is a powerful, easy to use tool for managing your Common Area Maintenance fees.
The CAM module is designed to be easy to setup and is 100% customizable. You can designate any charge type as a CAM and create your own CAM expenses. Rent Manager does the calculations for you based on your specifications. They can be created for an entire property, a single rental unit, or on a customer-by-customer basis. Charges can also be based on a customer's percentage of the overall square footage, a customer's percentage of the overall rented square footage, a flat fee, or create any charge based on a user-defined field. Charges can also be based on previous charge amounts.
