Rent Manager
Was Made for Mirelle Property Management
When Jim Brandt bought his first computer in 1989, he never
imagined that 15 years later he would be running his own
company using a computer, or that one simple program
called Rent Manager™ would be managing
almost every aspect of his company—from rent tracking to
work orders to utility billing.
Jim is now the President of Mirelle Property Management,
Inc., which got its start in 1999 when Jim purchased his
first manufactured home community. Currently, the
company owns five communities in the Central
Pennsylvania area.
Jim first became acquainted with Rent Manager while
working with another company supporting its computer
network. He liked the program so much that he bought a
copy of it when he started his property management
business in 1999. He has been using the program ever
since.
“It’s very easy to use,” Jim says. “All the icons are at
the top of the screen and individual application tabs
are at the bottom, it’s laid out well, and the technical
support is second to none.”
Jim admits he rarely uses Rent Manager’s technical support
for anything more than customized tweaks to meet his
unique needs. And when he does need actual help, he gets
a response almost immediately. “I had one issue a few
months ago. I called late in the afternoon when I
discovered it, and by 9:00 the next morning it was
done!” Jim says.
Most importantly, Jim and his company have shared—and
continue to share—their enthusiasm about the program
with others because it is custom made for companies like
his. “I’ve recommended it to people, and I will continue
to recommend it,” Jim says. “A lot of management
software out there is software that has been tweaked to
accommodate rental properties. That’s not the case with
Rent Manager. It’s designed for rental
properties.”
Rent
Manager
has obviously been a key to Mirelle Property
Management’s success, and Jim hopes with continued usage
that the company will keep running efficiently and
effectively into what he plans to be a prosperous and
rewarding future.
